As the Foundation “The Honorable” prepares to celebrate its third anniversary this November, its president, Nana Afia Adepa Korangtemaa (Ankobea Hemaa of Akyem Abomosu), reflects on the organization’s remarkable achievements and ambitious plans for the future.

Speaking in an interview, Nana Adepa highlighted the NGO’s unwavering commitment to supporting underprivileged youth who lack access to opportunities. Over the past three years, “The Honorable” has worked tirelessly to provide skills training and create sustainable livelihoods for young people across Ghana.

In 2024 alone, the organization supported 50 individuals through apprenticeships in the Northern, Ashanti, Eastern, and Central regions. Beneficiaries received training in various fields, including carpentry and hairdressing, equipping them with skills to secure employment and improve their livelihoods.

Looking ahead, Nana Adepa shared the NGO’s mission to make an even greater impact by 2025. Key initiatives include expanding job creation in the carpentry and hairdressing industries and establishing one of the largest fashion design factories in the country. This factory aims to provide employment for hundreds of youth and create a platform for local talent to thrive.

“We are committed to helping those who have no one else to turn to,” Nana Adepa stated passionately. “But we cannot do it alone. I am calling on individuals, organizations, and stakeholders to join us in bringing these dreams to reality.”

She also expressed her gratitude to the members of “The Honorable” for their dedication and contributions over the years. “It is through your support that we have come this far, and I encourage everyone to continue working together to make our vision a success.”

As the third anniversary approaches, “The Honorable” invites all well-meaning Ghanaians to support its noble cause, ensuring that more lives are transformed and communities empowered for a better future.
